NOW CLOSED FOR THE SEASON
Blueberries: Today we have approximately 2,500 highbush blueberries growing on about five acres of farmland. Blueberry varieties include: Early Blue; Blue Ray; Patriot; Atlantic; Jersey; Herbert; Dixie; Pemberton; Blue Crop; Stanley and Wareham.
Raspberries: Call ahead to check on availability.
Peaches: The peaches are "resting" this year as the very cold winter killed the fruit buds.
Agricultural Practices: Our fruit is not considered organic since we do spray our fruit as needed to control certain pests. All of our fruit is grown using minimal amounts of herbicides and pesticides. We use IPM (integrated pest management), low-spray conventional agricultural practices.
Questionable Weather? Driving a long distance? Please call the farm ahead at 207-457-1435 to confirm that we are open. Thank you.
Just spread your fresh-picked berries out on a cooking sheet one layer thick and put them in the freezer for a few hours. Do not wash berries! After they are frozen you can put the berries into a freezer storage bag and store them in the freezer. You can have delicious berries all through the winter!
NOW CLOSED FOR THE SEASON, EXCEPT FOR HAY
